Long-eared Owl!

Last weekend Nathan and I decided to make a crazy trip to Tupper Lake, NY to look for a Ross’s Gull that had been seen up there. Unfortunately we did not see the gull, and it still hasn’t been seen by any other birders since Thursday!

We did have a nice treat on our way home, we stopped at a place in Virginia and saw this awesome Long-eared Owl!

Some of the highlights include: Cape May Warbler, several Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and 8 Swainson’s Thrush!
